Peace In Oromia is peace for all! Peace in Amhara is peace for all!!!

Any call for a dialogue for peace should be taken as a good start. In all conflicts raging in the old country, there will be no winners but only dire consequences. Tens of thousands of young people will lose their Allah blessed lives and tens of thousands have already lost their lives. Tens of thousands will be left with lifelong bodily and emotional injuries and there are ten of thousands of such injured people already. Hundreds of thousands and even millions will be driven out of their domiciles and there are millions of internally displaced citizens already. The destruction of property and infrastructure we see now is unimaginable. Peace and stability have departed that gem of the colored in certain parts of Oromia and Amhara. With all these calamities that have befallen that country, there are among us here in the Diaspora who have been fanning the flames of war in their hideous scheme of profiting from it. They send their children and loved ones to schools here but they encourage and incite the youth both in Amhara and Oromia regions to March into an awaiting raging flame. These are the after births that country produced since 1974.

Meanwhile I tell this to the military man who announced the government is ready for a negotiated truce. I suggest the following to make any dialogue for sustained peace and stability possible.

1) The government should stop arresting civilians on dreamed up or trumped up charges.
2) Release all political prisoners with no preconditions
3) Declare official amnesty to those who are aimlessly roaming the wilderness now.
4) Invite outsiders like the former president of Nigeria, Brother Obasanjo to arrange meetings for peace agreement between you and both the armed groups in Amhara and Oromia regions.
5). Repatriate those citizens displaced from both regions regardless of their ethnicities.
On the fighting group sides:
1). They should declare cease fire now.
2) They should release all prisoners of war they are holding now.
3) They should abandon this wild and impractical idea of founding a separate republic. It ain’t gonna happen.

It is quite that simple for those who decide to seek peace and stability. Oromos and Amharas, Oromia and Amhara regions are Allah gifted backbones of that Blessed country, if they are in disarray the whole country and the Horn of Africa at large would be in disarray. Then we will see the entire 135+ millions of people will be on the move in all directions. These wise aleck bigots here among our Diaspora know that and that is why they will keep fanning and blowing the flames of war and utter destruction from their comfy and safe homes in Minnesota, Toronto, LA, Michigan, Scandinavia and Down Under. Some of you even have the audacity to tell us that Ethiopia never existed and it is in an irreparable state of decay. The last person who claimed that was none other than Mussolini in 1936 and we all know who decayed hanging upside down. You know who you are. I wish you were not even born.

Peace y’all!!!

With mine and many of you countrymen/women’s wishes for the old country to have peace with itself still intact, we also live in countries where path charting elections are being held. Such countries are in the middle of national elections that will tell which way they are heading jn their foreign and domestic policies. The world has come to a point where there are two opposing camps facing each other with one group trampling on human and democratic rights and the other one committed to protect such rights. Those of us who are eligible to vote must use such rights wisely with our well being where we live being the deciding factor. Inflation, homelessness, safety and the preservation of the civil rights should be on the upper deck of our deciding factors. The rest are secondary. Above all we have to vote.

Peace y’all!!!

The title is nauseatingly ethno-centeric. Attaches self-worth that does not need explanation. A thought along the thought lines of dictator Abiy Ahmed Ali.

At this point in time, the most valuable gift the Horn of Africa can get is peace and maintained. Peace when sustained always gives birth to stability. Even during WWI and WWII those that endured sustained peace had become the backbone of those that were seriously injured. USA stood out to be the arsenal of democracy because it experienced peace at home. The same goes with those countries in the Americas. If the situation was different the outcome could have been different. If Canada, Mexico and Central America were in an all-out war that could have adversely affected peace and stability inside the USA itself. That is what exactly going in the Horn of Africa. The lack of peace and stability in Somalia had affected the well being of residents in the adjacent localities inside Ethiopia and Kenya. The lack of peace and stability in Ethiopia has forced its neighboring countries to host hundreds of thousands of Ethiopians who fled violence. This couldn't have happened if there is peace and stability in every one of the countries of the Horn of Africa.
Let's preach peace y'all!!!

I just read news by Reuters in which it was reported that Turkey is mediating talks between Somalia and Ethiopia about the issues between these two neighbors. I hope both nations’ leaders will regain their senses and solve the senseless squabbles they are having now. Both these two nations have huge potentials only if they are at peace with each other. Somaliland is an issue that Somalia itself brought upon itself and Ethiopia was not the one that created it. It is something our very dear Somali brothers and sisters has to handle between themselves peacefully and only peacefully.

Meanwhile, all those neighboring Ethiopia should come to realize that Ethiopia is now a country of more than 130 million people and growing. Such enormous number of people cannot continue to be suffocated without an outlet to sea. That in itself will be a recipe/cause for future costly conflict. Pundits and politicians in all three countries of Eritrea, Somalia and Ethiopia should get their act together and work in alliance so their citizens will have the chance to drag themselves out of abject poverty. Stupid sense of baseless vendetta ain’t gonna further the accord for all of them. They have to accept the irrefutable fact that none of them are Arabs, Semitic people or caucasians from Tuscany. They are all ‘[ deleted ]’ to the White Citizens Council and Neo-Nazis. Shape up or go belly up!!!

Let’s hope this first talks will bear fruit beneficial to all. Peace y’all!!!

The talk between the two foreign ministers is a good start. Let's hope and pray that these two fraternal neighbors will reach amicable agreement for the issues between them. Not a single Somali and Ethiopian young man should have his Allah blessed life in danger because the lack of goodwill on the parts of the leaders of their countries. Greater this and ancient that ain't cut the mustard. They should not listen to or influenced by bigoted smart alecks who have been fanning the flames of war from their comfy homes in Minnesota, Toronto and the Middle East. Kudos to these two brothers for reaching an agreement to continue to talk. Lets hope and pray that the leaders of both countries will have their senses back and work together to drag their citizens out of abject poverty. History has proven to all of us beyond the benefit of the doubt that Ethiopia can not become a fully developed country alone. The same goes for Somalia, Eritrea and Djibouti. The only country that seems to understand this fact is Djibouti but it can do so much without the cooperation of its neighbors.

I have politely pleaded to all editors of platforms like this one in our Diaspora to make the websites they prudently created where all of us will preach for harmony, peace and stability. They have to rein in those who used these sacred platforms to pitch one group of people against another by hurling repulsive and denigrating pejoratives. Those upright and noble people we left behind and that gem of the colored that produced us all have gone through and seen enough unimaginable bloodshed and destruction because of stupid individuals on both sides. Since 1974 every regime that ruled that country one after another has been more or less a disappointment. When you think one has learned a bitter lesson from its predecessors, it won’t take too long before it dashes to its arsenal and point its deadly guns at its own justice demanding unarmed citizens. It is a typical African disease. There is also another fact our old country has seen it all like everyone else in modern history since the 1776 American War of Independence. That historical fact is there has never been a single armed group that brought democratic form of governance once it topples a sitting government. Not one!!! One may have well educated and eloquent leaders at the top but when it comes to a form of governance where no one is above the law, they will turn into murderous beasts. So that country is now between a hard and rock place. Despots in towns and bigots in the bushes are taking it apart. The editors of this esteemed website and others should rein in these bigots and eyal-Al-souqs who have been spewing around repulsive pejoratives and profanities. It will only make life even harder for those innocent citizens and the effort much harder for those who toil 24-7 to bring people together. You will be blessed. Let’s monger peace and stability for that jewel of humanity. Insha’Allah!!!

I would to take this defining moment of the birthday of Good Ole USA, the country that provided us with the opportunities we would never have in our own countries of birth, to wish all of you and your families continued rewarding success and health!!!

Peace y'all!!!

I just read an article that tell us that you PM Abiy have told members of the parliament about a recent coup that was successfully aborted by your law enforcement folks. What happened now PM Abiy? Who had tried a coup on your government and when did it happen? Any names? How was it foiled? Don't leave us in the dark. Come on now and spill the beans. Your predecessors used to justify arresting innocent individuals who stood in their way. Is that what it is now? You should give us the ocular proof of the coup attempt. Let's go!!!
I can tell you one irrefutable fact though. USA will not tolerate those who try to topple a foreign government in friendly terms from its soil. I also can attest to you in equally indisputable facts that claiming a coup by your predecessors to arrest and in some cases make opposing individuals disappear without a trace never brought the dough home for them. In stead, it backfired on them leading to their unceremonious shortened days at the big house. You should know that. What am I doing here preaching to the choir? Ocular proof, sir!!!

Hold on folks! My phone is ringing
Hello, Ittu speaking,
Hi Ittu it is me. Do you recognize me?
Yes, I'm familiar with your voice. It's Af-Mishaar.
You got it Ittu.
Whattabe like dude?
What it is, Ittu. What it is. The reason I called you is to so you can help me vent my anger.
What happened, Af-Mishaar? Were you involved in an accident?
No, my long time friend just lost an election.
Who was that. Macron?
No. My long time friend and who I mentored for years since his days at Stanford lost the national Election. Sunak just lost the election in UK. He called me this morning to tell me how is not happy with the loss.
I heard about it. He did not just lose the election by a humiliating landslide not seen in the recent history of general election in that country. How did that happen, Af-Mishaar?
Well, he did not use the right policy for the Horn of Africa.
What is in your proposed right policy?
I told him to do everything to destroy the country I hate most?
Which one is that, Af-Mishaar?
Ethiopia. I hate that country with a passion. You know that, Ittu!
Yes, I remember you talking about it in the past. Why do you hate that country so much?
I hate it because my late uncle, Af-Weyne Ziad Barre told me to have nothing but hatred about Ethiopia.
Why? That country has Somali citizens and are being led by a very capable leader. Mustafa.
Ittu, how many times did I tell you not to mention that name? That is the person I hate most.
Why?
Because he likes working with Amharas, Oromos and lately with Tigres. I hate those three people for impunity. They don't deserve to exist except you, Ittu. Because you will accept the new classification of Somali Abo.
Keep dreaming wise aleck.
Whatever Ittu!!! There is another loss in the works.
Which one is that, af-Mishaar?
The other leader who ignored my fire-test policy for the Horn of Africa.
Who is that?
That is Trudeau of Canada. My friendship with him goes back to the days his late father Pierre Trudeau. His father used to follow my policy to the letter.
Wow!!! You are such an expert, Af-Mishaar. You must have something else that catapulted you to the level of an expert. Can you share some of that wth me, Af-Mishaar? It will be between the boys. I will never share with anyone.
Okay. Let me put it to you this in these words. They worked like a charm for me, Ittu!
Alright, alright, Af-Mishaar. Please go ahead and tell me. You're keeping in suspense..
Okay, here they are. Bull-s%h%i%t, attitude and experience with these two are the ones that get ahead of everyone. It has worked for me like magic for decades. Now people can not get enough of me. When there is a panel discussion, it is 'call Af-Mishaar' Even Macron called me every day this week. He is losing big time in the election because he was not using the policy I gave him.
It seems you don't have privacy, Af-Mishaar.
Yes, I have none. The other day, I booked a flight to participate in a panel discussion I was invited to. I booked the entire section of the business class.
The entire business class?
Yes, Ittu. I even brought my own waitresses. Then, who do you think came to bother me?
Who, Af-Mishaar?
The captain of the flight. He came and asked me 'Can we take off now, Mr. Af-Mishaar?
He was asking you for clearance to take off, Af-Mishaar?
Yes. I said to him 'what are you guys doing? You should call the tower and they are the ones who are authorized to tell you when to take off. On and on. I have no privacy at all. Then when I arrived at my destination, it was all traffic jam. There were legends like Michael Jordan, Kareem Abdul Jabbar and Larry Bird in town also. But the people were there to get a glimpse of the legend above legends.
Who is that, Af-Mishaar/
Who else, Ittu? It was me. A legend above legends. They wanted to get just a glimpse of me.
Do you really believe in what you just told me, Af-Mishaar?
Yes, Ittu. Like I told you before. Bull%s%h%i%t, attitude and experience in those two is the only ones that will get you through and moving up. You throw the EEOC factor in the mix, there is nothing but going up.
Some day that is gonna catch up with you, Af-Mishaar.
Whatever, Ittu!!!

Dear Horn of Africans:

Hearing news of armed groups controlling a few remote areas in both Amhara and Oromia regions is not rare. Let's assume that is factual. Okay, what are they doing with it? Next the federal and regional forces will move in and there will be no sight of these groups. In both Oromia and Amhara regions, the citizens are between a rock and hard place. First the armed groups will move into villages and small towns during nights to murder and kidnap everyone they think works for the government and when the sun is up, the federal and regional will come in and do their own killings and kidnappings. That leads to a vicious cycle of internal displacement. What does that mean? Farms will end up unattended and go fallow. Then that is a perfect recipe for food scarcity leading to starvation and famine. This can happen even if it rains in buckets. What a predicament for those noble and upright people of both Oromia and Amhara regions! All this could have been avoided at a dialogue table when the will to compromise exists.

Lack of the will to compromise has caused the loss of millions of human lives and unimaginable destruction. Lack of the will to peaceful resolution will give away to unwise and uncontrolled outburst by sections of the population and erodes the hope for sustainable peace and stability. You add haplessly unemployed youth in its millions and millions others who can not feed and cloth themselves and their families with what they earn from working to the mix, you will have a huge cannon fodder readily available for all sides. Now it becomes a matter of survival. You either join the regime's camp or those who are roaming in the bushes. Or die trying to cross the Sahara, Bab-el-Mandab and The Mediterranean.

My nightmare is such stupid and senseless conflicts may lead to the demolishing and destroying of the center with no one strong enough and ready to take over. Then you will see the entire 130+ million citizens on the move in every direction. That is what these bigots and connivers in Minnesota, California, Toronto, Michigan, Tennessee, Oslo and Down Under are salivating about so they can go in there and yank away a territory to call it their own. Above all, there has never been a single armed group since the American War of Independence that brought democracy and the rule of law after it topples a sitting regime. It is not in the nature of such armed groups. You need proof? Just look around in that region. Look around!!!

My Dear Countrymen/Women,

News of kidnappings of innocent civilians has been in the news more frequently these days. Such criminal act has been going on for many years even though we never heard of many of them until now. We have been made aware who have been snatching civilians away. It has been every group with a gun. In rural areas of both in Amhara and Oromia regions it has been the armed gangs who do the kidnappings. They have not yet arrived at major cities including the capital. It looks as if there is an agreement that goes like 'I do the kidnapping in the rural areas and you do that in the urban areas including the capital'. There is a difference though. Those who have been aimlessly wandering around in the escarpments of the Amhara region and those who are roaming the jungles in Oromia, don't mince their words when they kidnap you. They have the nerve to call your loved ones to present their instruments of your freedom. They put a prize on your head. If you don't come up with the ransom money you are good as dead. So don't you dare call these beasts 'liberation' this and 'rebels' that.

Now let's look at how the kidnappings have been carried out in cities and the capital itself. One day you might have said something on your mind that concerns the situation around you and the country at large. You might have been honest enough and blamed those in charge. Then one morning while you are heading to your place of work or you are just spending quality time with your family, some guys in unmarked vehicle will ask you to come along with them. When you ask the reason, you will be promised that it will be explained to you at their office. I used the term 'office' here to be composed about it. But no one will explain the reason but you will be told that you will remain there indefinitely. There is no need for warrants and you will be thrown in a stinking joint at their choice and your loved ones will be left in the dark about your whereabouts. To me if someone is incarcerated without a warrant from the court, it is nothing but a kidnapping.

This is a nightmare for the innocent citizens. But I am still steadfast in my long-held conviction that this dire predicament will not be solved by armed violence because armed struggle never brought rule of law to the beleaguered but rather leading to a revolving door. One despot goes out and another one comes in. I will not waste my time to give you examples. This quagmire will only be solved peacefully and only peacefully.

Peace y'all!!!

I just read news on another Diaspora website that US Special Envoy H.E. Mike Powers is heading to Ethiopia this week.
I wish Special Envoy H.E. Mike Hammer continued success in his endeavor to promote peace, harmony and stability for those beleaguered people of Ethiopia. He was part of the team that helped bring end that stupid was started by stupid individuals in Tigray. He deserves a Nobel Prize along with his colleagues for that accomplishment. At least he has my prize. With that senseless war ending, there are now two bloody conflicts once again started by stupid and bigoted individuals in Oromia and Amhara regions. These conflicts should be brought to an end one way or another through dialogue. It was reported that close to a million people had lost their lives during the two year war in Tigray. Just imagine how many citizens will lose their lives if the conflicts in both Oromia and Amhara regions are to continue. I don't even want to think about it. It gives me chills down my spine just wondering about it. It will make the war in Tigray like a weekend stroll in a park. It is not funny, okay.

Again, good luck sir!!!

As expected under the rule of law of nature, my crowd is getting thinner and thinner as time goes by and more so lately. That is who I give those who are still going a call to see how they are doing. Some of them are childhood friends and others who I have the privilege of getting them to know later on. During our conversation after about we our family affairs, it is always about that gem of the colored that never discriminated producing us all one after another. One of those lifelong friends I talked to was my dear Issa dear friend. We wondered and dismayed how our legendary conversation ethics got muddied with pejorative and profane utterances. He has a Somali name for such p-o-t-t-y mouths. He told me it is 'farakh' which means someone that if you ask him the name of his father he will come up with at least 10. He would tell you he was raised by man who happened to be in the bedroom with his mother in a given day. He told me that such a boy will grow up to be a braggart beyond pale. In his twisted mind he is a peerless expert. He knows about everything better than everybody.

This is hot off the press! According to the news agency of Af-Mishaar, Somalia and Eritrea have just signed an extensive defense treaty whereby Somalia will have its pilots trained there and its air force to acquire 210 SU-39's from the Eritrean Aerospace Corporation. The Eritrean air force is said have the latest military jets available anywhere. It is also reported that they have been able to modify the latest SU-49 fighter jets that stretched their flight range up to 15,000 miles. There are 50 SU-29, 75 SU-35 and 120 SU-49's in their arsenal. That means they can strike Cape Town in one sortie and return to their bases safely without the need for refueling. O, I almost forgot about this. There were also able to convert all their fighter jets, helicopter gun ships and every aircraft in their depot with stealth technology. Ethiopia, you're toast; Djibouti, you're toast; South Africa, you're toast. There is a way to work things out to avoid Eritrea's ire. Ethiopia must pay the 250 billion in US dollars it owes Eritrea. Some of that is to compensate for Ethiopia's invasion of an independent Eritrea in 1941 at the Battle of Keren. Please note that I did not say 'Karen'. I wrote Keren. Hey Ethiopia, you better cough it up, pronto. I'm trying to say something in Italian here, the lingua franca of our neighbors to the north.

Most of us who are the products of that gem of the colored have been worried and rightfully concerned with has been going on in the old country. Our hearts bled when we heard news of bloodshed. We found ourselves vexed to the core when bigots and connivers got their way and made violence their romance of the day. We cried with those who lost their loved ones in senseless violence started by stupid individuals. It has not been a pretty sight. It has kept us preoccupied and that have prevented us to be cutely attentive of what is going on in the rest of the world some of which pose real and present danger to all humanity.

We are witnessing instances where some countries regressed and others progressed. We have seen some being overtaken by phobic toward other human beings and that opted to remain humane. Among the bad ones I am more concerned about this megalomaniac in Moscow. I'm not as concerned about the bully in Beijing because of the huge economic motivation/incentives. Xi is surrounded in all direction by a huge middle class. But the one in Moscow does not have that because there is an exodus by the middle class in its millions running away from his poisonous darts. He is slaughtering children at their preschools and kindergartens. He is massacring critically ill patients in their hospitals. He has made it clear that he would revert to using nuclear weapons if his grip to power is threatened. He has no Brezhnev's as Khrushchev had during the 13-day Cuba Missile Crisis in 1962. There no one in his inner circle who has the wisdom/guts to stop him doing anything. He walks around alone with his fingers on the triggers of his nuclear arsenal. The world and its humanity's survival have never been in such serious danger. I am worried for our children and grandchildren who have the world ahead of them.

Peace y'all!!!
