How could Chairman Kim Jong Un do this?

A few days ago, there was news about G7 meeting.
Reading the list of the nations in it makes you notice quickly that out of the current three superpowers of the world, the rising two are excluded.
Naturally, it would make you think that the rising powers wouldn’t sit idly by this exclusion.
A few days later, you hear news that Chairman Kim Jong Un, who Trump called the Rocket Man, gets a visit from the President of one of the rising powers, Russia.
It comes across quickly that a new and formidable alliance like NATO is forming in the eastern hemisphere. I imagine that an alliance of China, Russia, and North Korea would be formidable.
Since hearing this news, it feels the following is a song that Chairman Kim Jong Un is playing.
South Korea, South Korea, are you coming home or staying with them?
Japan, Japan, do you dare colonize Korea again?
India, India, are you with us or with them?
Middle East, Middle East, is your oil flowing to the east or west?
Israel, Israel, have you started to doubt that you are not the 51st State of the other superpower?
Europe, Europe, are you going to become the next superpower?
Australia, Australia, are you in the Pacific Ocean or in the Atlantic Ocean?
Latin America, Latin America, why would we interfere in your internal affairs?
Africa, Africa, which hemisphere is your ally in this new Cold War era?
I can’t help asking how Chairman Kim Jong Un was able to do this while the western media called him a leader of a hermit kingdom for a long time now.
