When the borana tribe migrated to ethiopia in 15th century it came into contact with the Ethio-Cushitic tribe of Gedeo in Guji and quickly conquered assimilated and intermixed with them... then the Borana migrated and conquered Bale which was inhabited by the Ethio Cushitic tribe of Sidama... than the Borana migrated through Gada system successfuly assimilated almost all Cushitic tribes in Ahmar highlands.
