Why do some men on ER feel jealous whenever they see a sister with a strong man

This is getting out of hand. These people are so obsessed with weddings between East African ladies and Nigerian gentlemen. I understand people like Misaq, almaze, and union are too old to find their own men, but why all this jealousy? I am tired of this.
