Re: Eid Mubarak
Eid mubarak to you and to your family.
Kulu Am weantum bikheir, aadehu allah aleyna bilkeir welmunia.
P. S.
In aladha this year, if you plan to buy a sheep it costs $1001 in Libya whereas the average monthly income is $400 and in Lebanon or Iraq is worse.
However, in Koran it is clearly stated "limen isteTaka ileyha sebillen" it means you are not forced to slaughter a sheep or a goat in AladHa if you cannot afford it

According to the article in the link below, in Libya, three years ago, a sheep was costing about 1,500 dinars (333 U.S. dollars), and that was already expensive in any country in the world.

Libyans and Iraqis are paying the price for buying the bullsh.it of the West with regard to Saddam Hussein and Muammar Al-Qaddafi - may God have mercy upon their souls.
Re: Eid Mubarak
As you are quite aware of it. In Islam, we call it Qurban. Qurban means you slaughter a sheep or a goat and you must offer the flesh to the needy ones irrespective of faith.Somaliman wrote: ↑16 Jun 2024, 17:13kerenite wrote: ↑16 Jun 2024, 15:22Eid mubarak to you and to your family.

I know that. But what I can't believe is that a goat or sheep is costing that much regardless of what purpose one might want to buy it for. I wonder how much a camel does cost in Libya!
