The Ethiopian National Consultative Commission has started a discussion session in which all stakeholders will participate in the country level in the presence of Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (Dr.)
The public, political parties, the three government bodies, the legislator, law enforcement and translator, representatives of institutions and associations, representatives of influential individuals have participated in the city wide discussion that started in Adwa victory memorial.
The commission's chief commissioner Mesfin Araya (Professor) who gave a speech on the discussion initiation program has congratulated you for reaching to the inclusive and participative preparation phase, introduction of discussion process and gathering agenda phase.
Even though the Ethiopian National Consultative Commission has faced many challenges since it was established, but the challenges did not get worse, they said that they have reached this level by doing its work to bring closer and understanding that many have been wishing for.
The commission has added that it has started collecting agendas in ten regions and two city administrations in more than 1000 woredas in Addis Ababa city administration by electing representatives who will participate in the discussion phase.
The commissioner who suggested that in the future, just like Addis Ababa city administration, there will be a selection of participants in the regions where the election of participants was held and in the Dire Dawa city administration agenda, and in Amhara and Tigray regions, the selection of participants will be held.
The commission also added that the current young generation will learn a lot from the previous generations and leave a better legacy of peace and development.
In order to get out of broken life and move to a better life, the commission politely asks the youth to change the problem with agenda formulation and idea drive.
To bring our country's problem to a national solution, the commission will work hard to make the door of peace available to people everywhere.
In the process of collecting the agenda, the commissioner has suggested that any Ethiopian can bring their agenda to the commission individually or collectively, the consultation will be inclusive and the process will be done in a transparent and trustworthy manner.
The information of the commission indicates that Mesfin Araya (Professor) has thanked the commission on behalf of the commission for those who are concerned about the peace and development of their country.
