I think people would probably be more impressed if you have any plans for Ethiopia to start producing food to feed itself. It's been 72 years and you're still holding out the begging bowl. One generation is generally considered to be about 30 years. We are talking about 2 generations of Ethiopians that have yet to experience the freedom that comes from providing for yourself.
Hitching your wagon to any self-serving world power that covets the Red Sea doesn't make you any powerful, it only enlarges the begging bowl you pass down to the next generation, and the next, and the next......

የኤርትራ ክልል ጣሊያን ጭራ ላይ ተንጠልጥላ ስታበቃ፣ ዛሬ የእነርሱን የፈራረሰ ግንብ ተሸክማ ወየፊትም ወደኋላም እንዳትሄድ ባለችበት ቆማ እንደቀረችው ማለት ነው።

You have to think who is involved and why.
You can see that the big boys are behind this somaliland deal. You dont see resistance from our historical enemies who wanted Ethiopia to be land locked. Does it mean now they dont care if Ethiopia has sea access now? No! And NEVER is the answer to my question.
So why are they helping abiy to have access?
1. They want to Attack Fanno, they want to destroy Esayas and his support by making them hopeless. Many of the shabu cadres on ER day dream the time Ethiopia pays them trillions for port rental. That is been their only hope they have to keep the eritriansim that brought them lots of miseries. Who is helping birgde nahamedu at this time, what a coincidence? Nahamedu was created a year ago or so but look how powerful they became alreay.
2. The west is preparing to creat small counties in Ethiopia, at least that is their dream. So oromuma country is one of them. As you know, the west supports OLA and shene by inviting them to negotiation tables with abiy and introduce them to the world as freedom fighters. So the somaliland port is for the west to loot gold, silver and other minirals in the future. Anyone that dont see now that abiy and the west are working to creat a country is basically stupi'd
3. If their plans fail and Fanno wins, they will make sure the somaliland deal gets cancelled. Anyone who thinks they can't do that is pretty stup'id
4. If Fanno wins, they will start to support ascaris in the west to bring us back the cold war with ascaris. They will work on the hate propaganda
5. They are using abiy to split somalia which is beneficial for them for many reaosns. And they think it will make somlaia to view Ethiopia as their number one enemy for ever
