Idiot. Somaliland is an independent nation, not a part of Somali Killil of Ethiopia. Do Ethiopians celebrate Kenyan, Dkibouti, Sudanese or Eritrean independence day. You retarded Eri! If you want to celeb rate SLR Day, you send then a post card respectfully. Just because you can't leave Ethiopia alone, you assume everybody is like you - a lost sheep.

Somaliland is not an independent nation. even the name "Somaliland" coined by the British as if the other Somalis do not exist.
why not the UK help the Somaliland independence? because they know very well there are other Somali clans (Darood & Gudabursi/ Issa ) who don't want to be under the Issaq clan.
The day Somaliland declares a separate nation, there will be another war 100%.

During the western colonisation, the British never called this breakaway region "Somaliland" but British Somaliland/British Somaliland protectorate. The south used to be called "Italian Somaliland/Somalia Italiana, and Djibouti was "French coast of the Somalis/Côte française des Somalis".
The word Somaliland has only appeared after the collapse of the central government led by Siad Barre, to mislead people and tell them that there used to be a country called Somaliland in the past, which is not true. When the British granted independence to the north, the current Somalia's flag was erected in Hargeisa and not any other flag.
Therefore, Mogadishu also is Somaliland.
In addition, what many people do not know is that the majority of Issak people are unionist and are against any secession from the rest of Somalia. To prove this, to date, the administration in this enclave has completely been against holding a referendum to ask people in the north (or even just among Issak people) to express their choice whether they want to secede from Somalia. They know perfectly well that the majority of Issak people would vote against a separation from the rest of Somalia.
C'mon, it's not a fuc'king Gurage baboon that's going to lecture us on our country and people.
