“An inferiority complex refers to a deep-seated belief of being fundamentally inadequate or inferior to others,” says David Tzall, PsyD, a psychologist in private practice in New York City. Those with an inferiority complex feel insecure, incomplete, or unworthy constantly. “It can be quite paralyzing to a person because inferiority complex leads to negative reactions such as lying which is often a coping mechanism to help avoid negative feelings as a consequence of rejection. Rejection can also lead to obsessive, jealous, and even angry behavior,” Dr. Tzall says.

"After Eritrea wins its independence what is going to happen to Tigray?" was the topic of discussion among TPLF leaders hiding in the Dedebit jungle in 1976.
After a long discussion, the TPLF finally reached the decision to send a delegation to Eritrea to submit their formal request to become part of Eritrea.
The Eritrean people's response was however.... first of all, as far as we Eritreans are concerned, you people of Tigray are Ethiopians, and the name of your organization, Tigray People's Liberation Front (TPLF), is not only misguided, it is extremely dangerous. You were not forced to become Ethiopians, it is who you are, therefore your quest to secede from Ethiopia has no historical basis whatsoever. So we urge you to think rationally, logically and objectively.
After the delegation returned to Tigray and delivered the bad news to the TPLF leaders waiting anxiously in the Dedebit jungle, an angry Meles Zenawi stayed up all night writing the now-infamous TPLF's 1976 Manifesto that makes bold territorial claims over large swaths of Eritrean and Amhara lands, seeking to incorporate these territories to Tigray and create their "ታላቋ ትግራይ ሪፑብሊክ", and "the spiritual center of the world"

ኢትዮጵያውነትን የተጠየፉት ወያኔ ዎገኖቼ አንድ ነጥብ አምስት ሚልዮን የትግራይ ወጣቶችን አስፈጅተው በፈረሙት የፕሪቶሪያ የSelam/ ስምምነት አመካኝነት ለጊዜው ወደ ኢትዮጵያውነት ተመልሰዋል። ነገ ምን ይዞ እንደሚመጣ አናዉቅምና ኡነኚህን ሰዎች በአይነ ቁራኛ መከታተሉ ጡሩ ነው እላለሁ።

Their crush on Eritreans turned into unhealthy obsessions, and their obsessions turned into delusional jealousy which led to their self destruction. I will drink to that.
