I’m surprised Daniel still uses jawsa when every regime propaganda outlet is using fano unreservedly these days.

I think language tells us a lot. I think Daniel no longer enjoys the gate keeper role nor sets the tone/ agenda. Instead, the hardliners inside the OPDO, led by Shimeles, are prevailing in messaging strategies of this cruel regime.

I think they’ll take him out unless he remains just a minor irritant in their eyes.

Daniel Kibirt has already expired. He has no use for PP anymore and the PP thugs know it. The reason why he is keeping his job is because of his dog like loyalty to Abiye Ahmed Ali. But it is a matter of time before they pushed him out. It is possible they may kill him.
That is the way it works in a totalitarian government.
To survive the environment what he would have done was that keep his ties and influence with the public alive and work under cover for his boss to be relevant. Instead he burned his bridges by attacking the public specifically the Amharas openly and viciously to be an Oromo more than the Oromos.
