Sad news!

His famous song "nanu.. Nanu ney kanchi alegn gudayi" was much loved by the sudanese as well. Such song was sang by the famous late singer Abdul Aziz Almubarak.

My favorite was.. Imbwa zebider... Zebider...imbwa... Imbwa zebider... Zebider... Lam alesh wey gider.

I hope, I am not mistaken, I believe it was sang by him.

He was indeed a gifted singer.
Many Ethiopians are holding granges against him because of a Youtube interview he did where he said he never missed Ethiopia nore ever wanted to go back…. Well, who could blame him upon seeing what Emiye looks like today before he left it some 38 years ago.
