The only way to weaken & control Eritrea is by annexing the strip of land from Assab to the historic Axumite port Adulis. The loss of the potash rich land and large portion of its acess to the sea shall weaken Eritrea, prevent it from being the proxy of Egypt and dependent on Ethiopia to perpetuity. Abiy has to exploit the current foolish alliance of Eritrea with Iran and Russia and annex the sea shore to prevent the enemies of USA and Israel from using it for their military purpose.
