(1) Somalis are free people and they can choose how they want to live. One clan chief called Hassan Sheik has no right to dictate how the civilized people of Somaliland should live. The same with Puntlanders if they wish to be free.

(2) Hassan Sheik is another Said Barre - mortal enemy of Ethiopia, one water carrier of Ethiopia's historical enemy- Arab Egypt!

What part of these two facts are unclear?

As being Gurage and treated and looked down at as a second class citizen in his own country, he might be thinking of opening a Khat kiosk in Hargeisa, in case he could get a better treatment over there, which I doubt.

Ethiopia will become a maritime nation with her own navy by diplomacy and/or war- agreed?

I agree fully in sea ownership. The way to get there is not war. War in my view is counterproductive and unnecessary. Ethiopia at its best can bring herself to be the envy (good envy) of others. So much so they will wish and lobby to join it. This I believe 100 %. I’m saying this as an Eritrean. For this to materialize, you need forward thinkers at leadership positions.
