ከምቶም ዓጋመ መራሕትኻ፡ ዘይኮኑስ መሪሕቲ ቫዕብያ፡ መዘና ዘይብሉ ታሪኽ ፊጺሞም ኢዮም ዝሓልፋ ዘለዉ። ኣስማቶምን ታሪኾምን ብወርቂ ተሰኒዱ ክነብር ኢዩ። ርእሶም ከየድነኑ፡ ከም ድርባያት ዓጋመ፡ ጒምብሕ ጒምብሕ ከይበሉ፡ ኔሮም ኢዮም ዝሓልፉ። ጀነራል ሑመድ ካሪካረ፡ ንዓጋመ ኣንበርኪኹ እዩ ተሰዊኡ። ከም ስዩም መስፍን፡ ግምባሩ ብጥይት ተወቂጡ፡ ከም ከልቢ ኣይድርበን እዩ ኤርትራዊ።
Unlike the trashy Agame leaders, Eritrean heros are passing away without kneeling down to any earthly power and after defeating all their enemis. This classic song is a fitting eulogy to all of our martyrs who can say, with their heads held high, "We did it our way."
