Let me drop this message on the occasion of March 8

Ethiopian Women are the most hardworking and most entrepreneur section of the population. I have come to know both men and women in the foreign country where I shared many things with them. I have seen many men, who failed and finally entered into dependence on others, after failing to support themselves, but not a single woman in this regard. Under the same condition women succeeded in overcoming the challenges and go on to make themselves self-sufficient. Afterwards they managed to support many members of their respective family. They stayed focused.
In Ethiopia women are considered dependent on men, which is fundamentally wrong. It was not women who failed themselves, but the men failed them and imposed their own failure on their women counterparts.
Ethiopia should give more and more chances to women, if it plans to succeed and be able to pull the country out of the abject poverty. Women needed to be prioritized and the successful women will pull the country out of its misery and be able to take off.
I write this thing in part also as a tribute to my own late mother, who made me someone who can scribble this much on her own. I think this is not peculiar of only my mother, there are millions like her who can change the citizens and thereby the country.
Happy March 8 to Ethiopian Women and all their counterparts around the world!
