You have come up with an important historical description of how participation of Eritreans looked like at the war of Adwa and the gruesome treatment of Eritrean prisoners of war at the hands of Tigrains.

The old granddaddies at old age with superb memory are leaving an important historical facts about individual heroes long forgotten by most of us. Awalom is one of them. If it was not for his participation the entire story about Adwa war would have been totally different today. Awalom is more known in Eritrea as Bashai Awalom Haregot.
