To Adwans, the Menelik celebration is the humiliation of Adwans who surrendered to the Italians, nothing to celebrate and most importantly, all Tigrayans fought as TPLF and handed you Addis Ababa and the entire country but you looted like rats and you ran away from A/A to Mekelle like rats. If you were brave the way you are pretending to be now, why you were chased by stone thrower of youths in Addis Ababa, under your leadership why Tigray fallen to this level today yet you came out to show us something never happened and never will, the only thing we witnessed is looters from Adwa not braves from Adwa. Is Debretsion, Fetlework, Hagos Godefay and many others shameful looters or your braves, if you think they are braves then it must be for their merciless looting Tigray.

The Adwa battle was not a meaningful war, in terms of duration of the war 2.5 hours, number of Italian troops engaged in the war. The Adwa war was fought by Raesi, Hagos, Raesi Mengesha, Raesi Alula and Raesi Mekonen, each one of them had their own troops not the modern troops like TDF from all Tigray. When one Raesi leaves to war all his domain region men march with the Raesi even within the same Awraja. TPLF was from all Awraja of Tigray regardless where they engaged battle in any regions, the same is true for TDF but the old war was different.

The old two wars in the north was between Tembien and Hamassien troops against enemies not even most Tigrayans showed up. The Metema Yohannes battle was again Tembien, Hamassien, Enderta and Shire were the main fighters against Mahdi Sudan. King Yohannes and Raesi Alula were in Hamassien at the time and when they marched from Hamassien, the Hamassien men marched with their king and fought and died in Metema unlike other Tigray Awraja were the spectators for the news than participants.

Moving forward, Tigray should celebrate the first and biggest battle for its duration of the war and the distraction of the war brought to the people is in the north and that is the one should be celebrated not the Menelik praying in a church when the two hours war broke and finished before Menelik finished his prayer inside the church.
