Vladimir Putin has deployed Russia's horrifying Satan 2 nuclear missile that can strike almost of the US as fears over a possible World War 3 skyrocket.
Russia's huge arsenal consists of nearly 6,000 nuclear warheads, and in recent years has announced developments about the missiles capable of firing potentially world-ending weapons.
One is the terrifying RS-28 Sarmat intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM), also known in some circles as the Satan-2. As of last year, it was thought to have been rolled out on "combat duty".
The Satan-2 measures a staggering 116 feet in length, weighs 220 tonnes and is arranged as Multiple Independently Targetable Re-Entry Vehicles (MIRVs), meaning a single rocket can hit multiple targets at once.
Developed as a successor to the original "Satan" ICBM, also known as the R-36 or Voevada which dates to the Soviet era, it is thought to be able to carry 15 light nuclear warheads at once.
