- 1st on was during the late 19thcentury war in Adwa where 400 prisoner of war ascaries lost one leg and one arm for treason
- 2nd one was in the 2nd invasion of Ethiopia by Italy in early 20th century , in which they were defeated and run back with a folded tail.
As mercinary :
Invasion of Tigray as mercenaries if Isaias and gave 83K half starved poor souls.
Ascaries are like wild cat , hate Ethiopia but love it's culture , and salivate to exploit it's resources
