For me there is a great deal of difference between Abiye Ahmed Ali (who is a dead man walking) and Ethiopia. Ethiopia is lasting forever and her interest comes above everything else. Abiye Ahmed Ali is a con artist who accidentally came to power and his incompetence is destroying Ethiopia and the entire region. He must go and will go.

Abiye knows the perception and deep suspicion Ethiopians have about Eritrea. That is why he came up with this MoU distraction that the Ethiopians have been demanding to be looked at for 3 decades. But he didn’t miss much in understanding what the Ethiopians are looking for but he is not the right guy to execute it. Rest assured a modified and a much broadened MoU is the future. Somalia will regret what it did when they finally settled down and look at their options with cool head.

I am not going to debate you on what is good for Ethiopia and Eritrea because you have not evolved yet. Still stuck with EPLF’s mindset of the 60s. You may have to go back to 1991 and review what has been suggested by your allies then the US& UK. Or take your time and review the pre unification study by US, UK and UN.
That is the only way out for Eritrea to survive.
Other than that we have to hand it over to time to tell us the outcome.
Your non stop noise about Somali Land hopping it will fail to give a renewed relationship between Ethiopia and Eritrea is flawed and it will never happen.

Kindly spend no time on Ethiopia and Somalia, but spend much of your time on Eritrea.
