What a denial?

I am not fun of TPLF but i feel sorry for the people of Tigray. Now, if the Tigryans are smart, they should join FANO and get rid of Abiy to save Ethiopia, then the people of Tigray will redeem themselves even come to power.
If Ethiopians of all colors want to have a viable nation, they should totally abandon the federal structure that the TPLF created and replace it with one that is not ethnically based. The TPLF's agenda, after all, was to create as many cracks in the nation so as to rule and loot it with little resistance. Ethiopians know this. Yet they still persist in maintaining the structures that the TPLF created to divide and rule them. As to whether what is the only path of survival for the Ethiopian nation is feasible or not, I am not sure. It may be too late to save it. In which case, the efforts should be to make the disintegration as painless as possible. I don't see Ethiopians engaged in a serious discussion about the possibility of splintering much less of how to make such an event as smooth as possible. The worst that can happen is for Ethiopians to slide into chaos without due recognition of the consequences!
At least you have hope for Ethiopia. But the way I see it, I am afraid that the situations are worst. I was in Addis three months ago. most offices are equipped by Oromo, and they greet you in Oromo and if you don't respond accordingly, the humiliation, intimidation and harassment is out of this world. the crux of the matter is it is not about Ethiopia to the ruling party. The Abiy government and his gangs are in to win it all the fight against Amara. They don't care about the country or the other Ethiopians. The majority Oromo thinks if they lost the fight with Amara, then they think it is the end of Oromo. Even if you have the Pretoria thing unfold, TPLF supposed to disarm and the soldiers to be integrated into the society. But Abiy had different plan. He told to the TPLF not disarm and to stay stand-up. Abiy was confident he will win and disarm Amara after he punishes Amara, his plan was to use the Tigryans and attack Eritrea. Once that accomplished, the Tigryans would reward with Welqayt and the rest of the Amara land. However, the plan didn't go as planned. Amara has to fight for dear life and giving the Oromo a bloody nose. TPLF is clinically dead and there is only two way the people of Tigray can get back into the Ethiopian politics. One, they must solve whatever problems they have with Eritrea and 2nd they must join FANO and eliminate Abiy and his Oromo gangs. In my opinion, as longs as there are problems between Eritrea and Tigray, the Tigryans will never even think about power. so, they must do the two things I have mentioned. If Abiy to stay, say 2 years the kiss Ethiopia goodbye.sesame wrote: ↑08 Feb 2024, 13:01If Ethiopians of all colors want to have a viable nation, they should totally abandon the federal structure that the TPLF created and replace it with one that is not ethnically based. It is bad out there. However, FANO can win this battle. in a war, it is not about the weapons, drones and artilleries, rather, the believe on your cause. And Amara have the determination, the cause and the human resources. However, Amara lacks the quality of leadership and organization. Those are two majors once in winning a war. Look at the OLF they fought for fifty years and still they are going in circles to reach nowhere. Leadership matters. I doubt very much that the Eritrean struggle for independent would have succeeded without the strong leaders' you guys have.sesame wrote: ↑08 Feb 2024, 14:01Zemen.
I did not know that it is as bad as you describe. If the Oromos are determined to play a zero-sum game, then I am afraid there cannot be any hope. The question will be determined in the battle field and the destruction will be immense as I neither side is strong enough to win. It will be the repetition of Somalia or Sudan. But the consequences will be much worse for Ethiopia because the ethnic divisions are too deep! I can only hope that they will wake-up to the dangers of uncontrolled disintegration because otherwise millions will perish. And who will bother to intervene to put things aright!
