No, the fuc.ker is not from the cursed region - Tigray.
Shire is an old Somali name, which connotes a man who actively takes part in community meetings.
You won't see any young Somali with this name nowadays, as it's a very old name.

Oh, thanks bro, but anyhow the name shire is a small city in cursed-land-tigray, i guess that land must have been originally owned by our Somalian brothers back in the days, b4 z bantu agames stole it.

As the above Somalian described shire is a pure Somali name. We also have similar Tigray names. Like AMARE . Which means dictator , or some one who is in charge of something. Ammar means order.

The Tigrayan name is Amare, while the Somali one, which is extremely rare, is Amarre. They do not pronounce the same, and I wonder whether they've the same meaning both in Tigrayan and Somali.
