Most Ethiopians would be surprised to learn that the agame, who wrote the Ethiopian constitution, can't even write in the Tigrigna language. Their 1976 manifesto that was written in the Amharic language is proof that the agame can't write in Tigrigna, even if their lives depended on it.

you are right that, in general, the Agame clan can't write in standard Tigrinya. The proof is how they adulterated the Tigrinya language our forefathers developed from the Geez Alphabet. They simply can not write pure Tigrinya without mixing it with Amharic. Amharic is written properly for Amharic speakers. But Tegaru Tigrinya, which I call, Agamigna, is alien to standard Tigrinya spoken and written in Eritrea, the source of our Geez liturgy.
