Menelik was a black hero. As I mentioned few weeks ago, Taitu was much stronger than him. Menilik was famous for the words ESHI NEGE.
Taitu was a wicked woman, she was trying to have a son or daughter from menilik but she failed.
During captivity, Menilik was forced to marry alitash tedros, the kings daughter but he left her behind when he fled from tedros captivity from magdalla in 1865. He met alitash years later and she gave birth to a son who died at young age. Many claim that taitu poisoned him.
A question,
What does imiye mean? It sounds as a feminine word. Just pondering on.
