For anyone interested in the ethnography of the inscriptions on Axum Oblesk is the primary resource. Unfortunately, except Tigre major ethnic groups in Northern Ethiopia are mentioned. This leaves doubt whether there really was a tribe called Tigre. Halafi-mengedi all of a sudden is unzipping the secrete after all this time. Is this theory valid? His theory is very divergent from Prof. Richard Phankrust about the origin of the Tigre(awi) tribe.
