The guragies such as oldie Horus and Abere jummed the gun prematurely.
How can one own a port….can lease it for particular purpose. But, own it…….

Did those two think Ethiopia was getting a port to own? No wonder a dictionary has a word "gullible", and Mamo Killo call many Ethiopians "short memory" and "
jilanfo".
If Ethiopia will ever own a port, it can only be Assab. Even that will not come cheap and without a skillful and intelligent administration. Believing Mamo killo for such a task is getting shwa shwa by Israel Dansa.

Emperor Haile Selassie earned $200 million dollars a year for occupying the nation of Eritrea.
Mengistu Hailemariam received $$ millions from the communist bloc for waging a war on the people and nation of Eritrea.
The agame mercenaries earned $$ billions for occupying Badme and invading Somalia.
Abiy doesn't have a military force capable of invading or occupying a neighboring country, so his options to earn money are very limited, unless he annexes Somaliland to establish a naval base on the Red Sea and the Gulf of Eden, and serve as a waterborne mercenary force to earn some income.
