Yeah, you're right, he came with his own answers irrespective of what questions he might be asked. i think that's how they do in Ethiopia - coming with their own answers which they've rehearsed and just parrot these regardless of the question that's being asked to them.

Knowing several languages are always a blessing and makes it easier for one to share and provide information of interest.
But if the language skills in the subject in question are lacking then it is a loss for both the giver and the recipient. I hope you can see it from that perspective.
