This country can be the gateway to success for Ethiopia or the opposite.

I grew up on the cold (Dega) mountains of Gurage and I never wanted to live in a desert but the design and architecture of these expensive houses are impressive and elegant. I know they are adobe material hot climate structures built to maintain coolness during the day and warmth during the night. In that sense, they might not be the right design for Addis Abeba, but I really like to see similar developers in Ethiopia. The late artist Afework Tekle's house at the old airport has same design.
