Memorable Speeches

One of the most top speeches (if not the most top) of the last year, 2023, is the speech of the Ethiopian PM, addressing members of the national Parliament, on the issue of the right of the nation to access the sea for a maritime trade, and securing it for reliability. It was historic (and powerful, needless to add).

It literally caused a tectonic kind of shaking of the nation, the region and the world instantly.

It has caused literally everybody around the world speak about the issue at hand, it caused regional, political, and military realignment of the countries in the region and beyond. Caused diplomatic rows, wide-ranging commentaries of international, regional and national medias, bodies and the like.

The speech, which exemplifies Abiy's idiocy, is the beginning of the end of his regime and possibly of Ethiopia. A fragile nation like Ethiopia cannot challenge the sovereignty of its neighbors with impunity. We shall see!
