Eritrean Air Superiority in Action

Post by DefendTheTruth » 20 Jan 2024, 17:26

Issu must read this:

During the war between Ethiopia and Eritrea from 1998 to 2000, the Su-27s proved their worth. They shot down four MiG-29s without losing a single jet. As a result, Eritrea decided to buy two Su-27s for its own fleet after the war.
Su-30 for Ethiopia
The Su-30 gives the Ethiopian Air Force an advantage over the Eritrean Su-27S and Sudanese MiG-29SME fighters.

Since France refused to give Egypt Meteor air-to-air missiles for their Rafale fighters, Ethiopia’s Su-30s have a clear upper hand in possible conflicts. This is especially true since Cairo canceled its 2018 order of the more capable Su-35 fighters due to Western influence.
It’s worth highlighting that the Su-30SM version, which Ethiopia and Kazakhstan bought, resembles Algeria’s Su-30MKA and India’s Su-30MKI closely. These three versions, which are known as the best types of aircraft, all come from the Irkutsk Aviation Plant.
Ethiopia should also get its own customized version of its own, where it should be then named Su-30MKE, which will be the next step.

Galla defend the lie,

Make sure that the SU-30 came with all the advanced avionics that are included with the Russian fleet. By the way, third world countries do not have enough of those airplanes to make a difference. The more complicated the tech is. The more confused the monkey in the cockpit becomes. If any thing from Mengistu Era, Ethiopian Air Force was a target practice for the anti aircraft fighters from the ground. The Soviets run out of business in trying to supply those fairly capable aircrafts such as mig 23. If you can’t make a difference with mig 23, forget SU-30. A more complicated aircraft but not so friendly like mig 23.   The flight characteristics are the same except the advanced avionics that is necessary to air to air combat with the likes of f-15, the eagle fighter.

Shut the hell up.

It's not the number or quality of your arms that make you win a war.

You were about 100 million and Eritreans were just about 2 million, and despite your initial bravado that you would capture the whole of Eritrea in a week or two, you couldn't defeat Eritreans, who had a tiny fraction of the number of arms you had. And guess what - more than a half of Eritrea's arms today are Ethiopian arms surrendered to them or left behind by Ethiopians who didn't even know why or for what they were fighting.

See, your soldiers surrender en mass en the first gunshot.

Doma-Ras,

I don't think you have a fair grasp of the difference between a fleet and a model.

In that case your attempt to project your level of understanding to the idea of "avionics" is simply way to far .

Oldie fugly Galla,
Let me explain what avionics is.
A literal blend of the terms "aviation" and "electronics," the avionics installed in an aircraft or spacecraft can include engine controls, flight control systems, navigation, communications, flight recorders, lighting systems, threat detection, fuel systems, electro-optic (EO/IR) systems, weather radar, performance ...
You see, aircrafts like the mig 23 and better yet, the SU-30 are not made to be flown by the so monkey looking Galla in the ccock pit. Moreover, the Soviets are trying to compete with the likes of F-35 lightening and F-22 raptor. The SU-30 can not out duel even F-16 or the twin engine F-15. However, the Russians retain sophisticated avionics in their own aircraft’s that are not for sale. Hence, the two SU-30 the Gallas bought, have been rejected by the Indian Air Force for a good reason. MiG 23 can outduel those airplanes easily if those avionics are not available on SU-30. SU-30 is no place for a stupid a Galla monkey. He would be barbecued in the process of flying it.

The PeePee baboon

Nice fictional story…what do one expect from OPDO, the collection of Shaebia’s POWs who were raised sucking the Weyane’s milk for 27 years. They thought you how to make up good fake stories.

Just to expose your lies, Eritrea didn’t have Mig -29s at the time, it only had Mig 23s (3GFs), I know this because I had a close family member who was a squadron lead at the time . Not one single Eritrean Air Force plane was shot down during the war even though the Eritrean fighter plans were deep in your master’s territory and bombing the sh$t out of Mekele and other cities, including Aider school where the Weyane leadership were hiding in the skirt of some kids. By the way, the dead Aba Nebso aka Tigray’s Steve Wonder, lost his arms in the Aider School bombing. What was he doing a 60 years old man in the elementary school among 10 years old kids? Look it up, Weyane medias also mention this frequently. Nonetheless, other than your “hero”, Colonel Bezabih Petros, do you know also how many your coward fighter planes were shut down and their pilots either captured alive or killed?
