The rebels of Afghanistan fought two of the most powerful countries on the ground. Eritrean and Tigrayan ground forces chased Mengistu to Zimbabwe. Mengistu was armed to the teeth by the Soviet Union at the time. Ethiopia would not dare attack Somalia through the air. Stop lying. To have the deputy prime minister and foreign minister, Ato Demeqe Mekonen, be told to go back home should be a most humiliating experience for a supposedly proud nation. How is it possible that the plane took off without making sure that it could land in Somaliland? How is Abiy going to face the public after this debacle. This port drama is not for Ethiopia. Only low IQs believe the narrative that comes from the forked tongues of Galla Abiy Ahmed. The port is for his wider ambition of his futuristic country called Oromia. The likes of Abere, Selam and Horus are being chased from Addis Abeba and environs as we speak. But they have the audacity to think port benefit will be for them too. These folks have a twisted view of the current reality of Ethiopia.
