How accurate is the designation as N. K. of Africa?

I think this comparison only fits in the sense of just how closed to the external world and repressive the regime in the tiny State of Eritrea, where anything else is just stagnating or even sliding back to the past, could be similar to the North Korea. But North Korea is a technologically advanced nuclear power while Eritrea is still in its primitive way of life.
Repressive, yes, but never with regard to any kind of development in the tiny and fake state on the HoA that it could with North Korea.
