I didn't know how many, but I'm aware that present-day Ethiopia has plenty of lakes and rivers. Enjoy what you have and stop drooling over other countries' property. It is not good for your mindset.

Do you think it is lack of political will that is preventing these countries from using their vast natural resources to feed their own people and develop? Something is terribly wrong there.

Yes, that's right, political reluctance and dependence on loans that have made most countries fall under the control of BlackRock and other banks.

Horus listed some of the major rivers Ethiopia is endowed with. Also, do not forget Ethiopia is the richest in ground water just note surface water.
The Holy Book states Ethiopia is the Garden of Aden where Adam and Eve once. It is the land of opportunities and richness.
Modern day scholars also named Ethiopia as the Water Tower of Africa.
That is why Ethiopia is the promise of Africa and termed as the Bread Basket of Africa. However, possessing something very precious comes with a lot envious evils roaming with swords. The odds of domestic Judas is there too. For instance, TPLF and OLF working with evils is an example, they exposed the country to historical enemies. They will try, but will lose.

Then why are we hungry and suffering from droughts? We have the water, the fertile land and the population to grow food, then why are we addicted to Aid and handouts?

The question is: Why is Ethiopia unable to feed itself when blessed with all these rivers, lakes and fertile lands?

Look into the mirror: why are so many Eritreans leaving their country constantly despite the 1000km long marine wealth & resource-rich coastline? Why is your economy stagnant? All African countries have the same problem: bad governance & ignorance.

Great Question, but don’t expect any answer from these people. Having owning multiple lakes and rivers and yet you can’t feed your people; then what’s the use of it? I would be ashamed if I were them, to brag about all thaw nature resources and yet my government is extending its hand for handouts to feed its people year after year.
