Horus: Will IGAD Endorse the MoU or Unendorsed itself -because several Countries already had MoU with Somaliland?
Over the last 33 years, countries around the world (big or small), indirectly recognized the existence of Somaliland as a sovereign country. Some big name countries signed several treaties and MoU often via the head of their liaison office, another nick name of Embassies.
As to me, IGAD should not be between rock and hard place to make decision - it is an easy one. It becomes tough if IGAD is used as the remote control of those double standard player actors - which in fact, IGAD is known for not having African agenda. The Pretoria deal is one outstanding example - which later backfired and left the HoA ever unstable leading BEADEN /ብአደን/ defeated and effectively lost 90% control of Amhara region - now, the pain in the b.utt for Abiy Ahmed (an OLF mercenary)
