What do you think going on? Egypt's foreign minister to Asmara and USA's secretary of state to Egypt. I don't know but i am guessing the US wants desperately to rapier their relationships with Eritrea. Since the Americans changed their mind about Eritrea late last year and as usual Eritrean government didn't say anything. I don't know but something is cooking.
