We live in a multi polar world and the West cannot dictate their terms and conditions . Discussion and negotiation is the way forward. Actually the international.comminity is responsible for ignoring the Somaliland issue for three decades.

Another lies and propaganda on Somalia, from the US State Department, just to appease the Red Sea region, because it needs them now in order to fight the Iranian burden-of-beast, the Hoothi Yemen.
The US indirectly supported and supports many Somaliland like political semi-states before, such as South Sudan, Kosovo, Taiwan, Khurdistan (in Sadam's Iraq) ...
