Colonel gebre was reporting the wars and telling the truth but the banda Amhara, Eritreans were calling him liars to defend abiye Ahmed and Ethiopian Army.
But the Colonel was reporting everything truth and even forewarned the enemies no one can defeat the Tigray People.

The TPLF Army and Tigray People had the power,the means to destroy the entire Shabia Army in 1989-91 (35 years ago) from the face of the earth just like they destroyed Jebha -Eritrea Liberation Front Army.
But the Tigray People had sympathy for the ordinary Eritreans people do to the genocide wars in Tigray and voluntarily gave Eritreans their independence.
The Tigray People and TPLF could have denied Eritreans their independence and wipe out shabia army from the face of the earth.
Don't forget the entire Shabia Army and Eritreans were defeated by the then the powerful Derg-ethiopia army and Jebha -Eritrea Liberation Front Army when they begged the Tigray People to save them which they did .

Let's not forget 23 years ago the heroic Tigray People destroyed the largest Eritreans army in Africa that was supported by Arab countries, Egypt and Western countries chasing them all the way to the doorsteps of asmarino until Eritreans and Shabia leaders Begged the Tigray People for mercy.And the Tigray People Army returned from the doorsteps of asmarino which was a mistake.
The TPLF and Tigray People Army 40 Years ago was immaculate in the world where they could have crushed Shabia Army in one week of wars from the face of eritrea.
But the TPLF and Tigray People had huge sympathy for the Eritreans people in those days because of the genocide wars in Tigray and some innocent Eritreans were also killed by Derg Ethiopia Army and Amhara which made the Tigray People to liberate Eritreans giving them independence.
