How good is Tamagn Beyene's English?

Post by DefendTheTruth » 27 Dec 2023, 17:51

It is not a must to master a foreign language, but in case you want to act a public figure, in the name of the mass, then one of your top responsibility is to show how good you are in the language of your host community.

Tamagn has been living in the US for at least over two decades, a language crush course should last a max of 6 months, for both adult and children. He wants to lobby the American law makers and other influentials, but using a translator for a language as widespread as English and in which he has been living in for that much time for the task will not make any good image, for himself and for Ethiopians, more importantly for the cause he subscribed to.

Those people he is meeting for lobbying them must have considered him an inept show man, a certain clown.

I advised him long time go to restrain himself from politics, on the mere reason that the subject is not for the low IQs like him. He thought he can act in politics too just like he does in his shows of art scenes.

DefendTheLie (DDL),

____Speaking in English does not make one either smart or knowledgeable. One can be very fluent in English or any other language but in an official communication, where representing his/her country interest, speaking in the native national language of his/her own country makes his/her country and the people standing tall among the peer nation members. We watched highly educated and intelligent Israeli officials who are so fluent in English yet provide official communications in bilateral or multilateral relations in Hebrew not either English or other language. His Majesty King of Kings Hailesellassie is fluent in English, French may be in other languages but he used to speak in Amharic, the official national language of Sovereing Ethiopia - everyone was attentively listening his translation. Please note you speak fluent English does not make intelligent, there are many speaking English but cannot either read or do arithmetic's.

____ But I am wondering why backstabbing your friend and OLF-PP supporter, Tamagne Beyene, now. Are you want to assign him a mission as an undercover. He should have spoken in Orommuma in stead of in Amharic - shame on him doing that while eating the Orommuma pizza pie bowing down to Chiraq Abiy Ahmed.

Speaking English, French, or any other language considered an international language is not a prerequisite to being an activist, politician, or a country leader, for that matter. Many Chinese and Japanese leaders do it all the time; they bring along a fluent speaker to interpret and convey information. What is nauseating is that those who don't have an inkling of the language try to speak it, making themselves appear more ignorant than they actually are.
Look at "Dr. Workne Gebeyhu" in front of a UN audience hypnotized . Abdula giving an interview to an Egyptian journalist, addressing Egypt's concerns about the Renaissance Dam. Oh, sweet Adenach Abebe accepting a reward on behalf of Addis Ababa. When was the last time Tamagn was invited onto the international stage representing Ethiopia? Nada.

DDL is also a short form of Data Definition Langauge, so I will going to define you precisely. A liar!

Tamagne Beyene and any other person doesn't have to master the english language. The point is that he lives in the US, a place where english is native.

Tamagne can keep himself to his true size and avoid any sort of public engagement, using a translator. That is the point.

HIM was a statesman and didn't need to speak in English, and he was not a resident of an English speaking country.

You can't compare the two, mr. Liar!

You are neither a database programmer nor a data scientist. We know an Orommuma blood merchant and conflict enterpreneur. You are a stubborn defender of lie and are a lie machine. DefendTheLie is DDL. you defend (DD) lie (L) - got it!?

Back to your frirend Tamagne Beyene, who once showed up dressing in Orommuma blood stained cloth in Nazreth while the audience all dressed in the sacred tri-color (Green-Yellow-Red) clothes in an attempt Nazareth people are Orommuma so that he could below his OLF-Abiy Ahmed vuvuzela. This idiot has been after money , never about justice and freedom. No one can trust him anymore other than you the OLF gangs. The fact you are mentioning his name makes us wakeup you are sending wolf.

If he spoke in Amharic while living in the U.S. he was right and his strategy was to win the hearts of diaspora Amhara. He can live 70 years yet can speak in Amharic while advocating Ethiopian case. Amharic is among the list of recognized languages in DC, Maryland and Virginia. You child or you can receive mails, letters or voice messages in Amharic being an Ethiopian. You can be a professor or a writer still you can be reached out in Amharic - because the U.S. recognized it as official language of Ethiopia. If you want to take foreign courses you will find Amharic in Ivy league universities. Sadly, OOrroommuummaa has been found wasteful for it takes too much space. Every thing written in oorroommuummaa looks like the long fence of my house.

The good thing is that you can copy and paste something, without the consent of the owner of the original.

That theory was mine on this forum yet you jumped on it, without most probably knowing the core idea of the issue at hand.

Jawisa and knowledge never go hand in hand! Period!
