Interesting. By the way Wube Hailemariam a.k.a Ras Wube is a powerful Amhara war lord that ruled ሰሜን Gondar, entire Tigray and parts of Eritrea. Historians called him "The non-tigrigna speaker ruler of Tigray".

Weyanes are circulating his map all over the net to claim Welkait and Tsegede without mentioning his name.

What happened after this lady made alliance with Ras Wube?. We know in history that Emperor Tewdros eventually defeated all war lords including Ras Wube.

Wube was a very brutal warlord who wreak havoc in the Eritrean highland on which people remember him to this day.

In regard to alliance, Ras Hailu of Tsaazega had closer relationship with the nobility of Gonder than the nobility of hazega on which Embebiet Elen was member of.

The Arab concubines and Arab slaves keep on embarrassing themselves by posting the truth and the fact of the Bahre Negasians here. The proof is the history of this beautiful and glamorous a Habesha and Bahre Negasian noble woman who is fit to be a queen of any nation.
This noble and brave and noble woman like many Bahre Negasian women never saw herself as piece of Arab servant, nor did she hate her faith, identity, languages, heritage and history to borrow a second hand Arab identity and languages.
This is the true history of the Bare Negasians that the Arab slaves do not want to be published, printed and used as educational evidence in schools .

The Arab concubines never stop arguing against their own Arab-Cairo manufactured history by posting the true, honourable, proud and incontrovertible history of our noble Bahre Negasian mothers and fathers.
Their stupidity is that with such rich history of the Bahre Negasians, they preach us how Arabic Eritrea and Eritreans are, unlike their own real brothers in Tigrai and Ethiopia.
It is hard to argue with a rusted Arabized mind.

The Arab concubines are so confused, they keep on posting their true and real history that opposes the Cairo invented Arabized narrative. I can only thank them.
These people look to the nobility in Gonder, Adwa, Lalibela, Sodo or Showa. Can anyone show me an Arab in the photograph?
These very proud Bahre Negasian nobility do not look Arab slaves like the Arabized political leaders, such as the slavish Osman Salah Sabe, Abdil Qadir Kabire, Abdela Idris, Ibrahim Sultan ... who hated and refused to speak in their own languages of Tigre Tigrinya.

I have no doubt in my mind that those who went to the streets of Asmara in the 1950s saying "Ethiopia or Death" are these self respecting nobilities.

I am ready to accept any challenge on this.

The nobility as people have never felt any affiliation with Ethiopia, if we did, we could have had the same sentiment as Tigrians in regards to the country in the south. Despite heavy handed influence of their leaders, Tigrians still feel affiliation with Ethiopia, something you don't see among the nobility.

In regards to "Ethiopia or death" slogans by some nobility. Eritrea was a battle ground between Jamal Abdel nassir of Egypt pan Arabian Agenda and Emperor haile selasie for Control just like hosting The African Union head quarter was, basically, it was an older version of maidan or color revolution on which the string was pulled behind curtain rather than spontaneous people who went to the Street to express their feeling.

Look the photograph of my proud Bahre Negasian ancestors in the early 1950s. After 60 years of brutal Italian colonization and ten years of British military occupation, their Habesha Bahre Negasian identity was still intact.
The Arab concubines are so confused, they keep on posting the true and real history of the Sime-Tir Hamasienait that opposes the Cairo invented lies and the Arabized narrative. I can only thank them.

So was it the commoners in Eritrea who had the habit of calling their daughters "Ethiopia" back in the days?

There were peasants who had a habit calling their daughters Roma but it doesn't mean we are Italians. It was just trend.

Let the dispossessed pride themselves on the account of ንጉስ tedros or እምበቤት ኣትጠገብ. We have had a different trajectory for the past 800 years. We have little in common with the መሬት ላራሹ crowd

Remember, in extreme feudalism only one is free, in less severe feudalism few are free. In the Eritrea of our forefathers, every land owning peasant was free

You are right that there was no feudalism in the highland in a sense the warlords owned the land while the peasants were regarded as semi slaves. But it doesn't mean, we didn't had rulers.

Yet again for educational purpose. There are Tigrians who think that the eritrean highland was always part of Tigray and it was Menelik who separated the two. Here is the true story, our feud with our Tigrian cousins goes way back during Ras Andahaimanot.

Stop lying, common sense is required here.

Wikipedia is not the holy bible or the holy koran. Any historian or non-historian can modify any story narrated there.

Regarding the woman in the image:

One can dudce out that she was pictured in studio sometime in the years 1880s or 1890s.

Further proof:

we are told the woman was born in 1801 in other words when she was pictured, she was about 40 years old hence in 1841. But during this time around forget studios there were no cameras and their invention was at preliminary stages. They were introduced post-1855 and at the end of the century photos were shot in studios (similar photo as shown above)

In conclusion:

If she was related to ras wedenkiel, I would conclude that she may have been his daughter and not his mother.

I could bring you the picture of the father of haile selasie, ras weldemichael the Governor of harar in a very similar environment. Hence your argument is relative
