We have been trying to create such a relationship, Temari, but Ethiopian leaders seem to take that offer as a sign of awe. The thing is they seem to be slow in learning.

in the next 5-7 years, the Eritrean population residing in Ethiopia will either diminish entirely or reduce to a level comparable to other African countries like Kenya, Sudan, or Egypt. Despite the Eritrean people's benevolent sentiments towards Ethiopia, the majority of them seem to have grown weary of living in Ethiopia or having any connections with Ethiopians.
Hope this will clarify to those who preach the “brotherly” people nonsense preachers.

One of the many things I admire about our Eritrean government is that, it has always kept us well-informed about the real source of the pain and suffering experienced by both the Ethiopian and Eritrean people.
We Eritreans were taught to look beyond the smoke screen that blinds us to the truth. The truth being, the Ethiopian people are victims of a Neo-colonial agenda in the region that uses native mercenaries to destabilize the country to forever keep it in a state of perpetual war, because Ethiopia at peace within itself is considered a threat to Neo-colonialism in the region.
I wish for the Ethiopian people to see what's holding them back from reaching their potential. The real problem is not some of your neighbors don't want you to succeed, it's the Neo-colonial powers that divide your country along ethnic, religious, and other divisions, to destabilize it. Don't take my word for it. You can check it for yourself.
