I am convinced that Democracy for Africa is a waste of time, energy and resources. Whenever I watched the Ethiopian leader BS and the parliament, they are completely a waste of time and sad to observe. Case in point I rather have Eritrean style government than the BS we have in Ethiopia.

There is no such thing as benevolent dictatorship. All those idiots you listed, perhaps with the exception of ATA Turk, they are all failures. Democratic countries are much more successful. That hard headed idiot called Mao cost China so much so, practically, it was a third world country for decades. You know, China has been the longest reigning super power until the 1930’s. But another dictatorship emerging from imperial Japan destroyed the longstanding super power to the ground. You have the likes of Stalin, Idi Amin, Hitler, juvenile foolish Gaddafi, African idiotic dictators in general, in the company of failures. Excuses….da da dada.
