What do you expect! My Generation grew up on revolutionary and protest music, poetry and literature. I have known Dylan since the late 1970s. I had in fact the opportunity to go to his concert after he became less radical. There is not an American poet or protest musician I love more than Dylan. If you want to compare him with an Ethiopian artist - the closest will be Tedy Afro - musician and poet. Remember, if you search for Dylan under poetry, you will not find him, He is a country singer. But his lyrics are so deep and poetic, he was given the Nobel in Literature.

I consider him a social philosopher, a thinker. He was not a crass commercial artist. He was not even bother to show up at the Nobel ceremony. That is Bob Dylan - simply authentic artist just like Teddy!
