In comparison to Wedi Medhin Berad, Haile Selasie was a saint who was God fearing Emperor. Deqi is absolutely right on his majesty Haile Selassie. He wasn't brutal. He was deposed by the same youth he sent to education in Europe and America. These youth under EPRP and MEASON went on to study Marxism instead of focusing on studying diciplines the country needed such as Medicine, Engineering, Social Science ..etc. Report has it that His majesty sent students from all walks of life and ethnicity. But what this lazy idiot students brought back is Marxism. Hailesilasse was a reformer with very few backings in Addis Abeba at the time.
