Anyone who says he can bring down the rain is a very dangerous person. In civilized countries there is a psychiatric ward reserved for such a person.

Many people predicted that TPLF's war-of-choice against Ethiopia would set the stage for Ethiopia's Yugoslavia-like disintegration, but no one expected Abiy would borrow a leaf out of TPLF's play book to finish the job his TPLF mentors had started. Just as the conflict in the Sudan is believed to be a Saudi-UAE proxy war, the cash-strapped Abiy has become a proxy to the UAE with far-reaching implications for the future of Ethiopia.
