He thought Abiy wants to give Wolkiate to Amhara Region


The war was over and Pretoria Agreement was already signed when he came out of the prison. But Eskindir was sort of campaigning for war and trying to show his allegiance to Abiy if he decides to start another round of war against Tigray. It was obvious he has chosen the path of war from his first interview.

I think it all stems from his biggest miscalculation about Abiy's position on Tigrayan territories unconstitutionally annexed by Amhara Region. That miscalculation lead him to conclude that another war between Tigray and Abiy was imminent. I saved the below clip to post it in March 2022 and decided not to post it. When I watched the below error of judgement, I knew Eskindir was going down the hill.

Well Eskendir & Fano's shouldn't rely on Abiy for the fate of Amharas now. Abiy will be defeated. Unlike you who feared Abiy and bow down leaking the ground he walks, Eskinder and Fano are shaking the ground of Arat killo.

Let TPLF leak it's wound and when it is ready we can meet once again and we will see who will prevail shall we?

Eskendir is one bright guy. What you call a miscalculation is your assumption that the Abiy agreement will twist Amhara's hand, and you will get your looted "Tigrayan territories," unconstitutionally annexed by the Amhara Region, on a silver platter. That is the only reason you fall in love with Abiy. If that is not delivered by Abiy using the Ethiopian National Defence Force, your love for him is going to sour. He attempted to do just that, and you know the kind of hot water he is in now. TPLF takes land by force first and cements it with the so-called "constitution," then Amhara's land turns into Tigrayan land by uprooting 500,000 Welkite Amharas and bringing in Tigrains en masse from Adwa and other parts of Tigray. That land becomes yours. There is no strategic move by Eskendir that has not checkmated Ethiopia's enemies. It is surprising that TPLF hangs on to the so-called constitution; the end result will make them irrelevant in the future of Ethiopia. Amharas, even if this ethnic federation continues, as long as it is implemented to the letter of the law, will do fine. On the other hand, your hopes are hinged on being mercenaries to Abiy's Oromuma, and you will get only the crumbs.What an inspiration !?

listen these two Tigrians and learn . Not that they differ from you when it comes to Welkit , but in settled ways they address the fate of Tigrians under TPLF constitution.
