Because, in reality Somalia has not been independent. I attempted to break down by time period of its so-called 66 years of independence from Italy. Still African countries are serving as the guardian of Somalia. It has been a textbook example of "failed state". It is very ironic, the colonials boots may not be on ground, but they are still colonizing or are their patrons workings virtually. The colonials are telecommuting The fool African think they are independents because they think their masters are not with them physically. A good example is Western African countries who even do not have banks to put their money. If those so-called "independents countries" are independents and their occupiers left them, why would their own citizens leave en masse to live in their former colonizers of the West?

I don't really understand what you find funny to laugh at. But the importance of independence should not be underestimated. By independence means to be free from occupier forces who had nothing to do with the country to begin with but were only there to take the country's resources and oppress the country's population.

What became the result of independence, can always be discussed about but the importance of independence should not be underestimated under any circumstance.

Amharas have enough problems as it is, they have 55 million Oromo problems, Apparently that is not enough, Somalis should throw their weight one hundred percent behind Oromos, Amharas who move to Somali State should be treated exactly the way they are treated in Oromiya.

That is not true at all. Somalia was independent under President Siad Barre but has not been so for many years due to various things. But Africans have never been the guardians of anything. the opposite may be true.

More than a quarter of Addis Ababa residents have no access to toilets and [deleted] in rivers crossing the city.

Eritrea and Somalia are unlucky to have a cursed and backwards country called Ethiopia as a neighbor. Both of them were not allowed to enjoy their full independence for the fact that the west used the backwards Ethiopia to try to destabilize both countries.
Now that Eritrea and Somalia are strengthening their friendship so much so Eritrea is training Somalis armies, Somalis can easily reclaim their stolen Ogaden region and Eritrea can help to that vision.
We both need to make Ethiopia pay for the evil it did to further its masters agenda.
Besides that we should advocate to create more friction with in the rest of the Ethiopians ethnicity so that they can butcher each other or even advocate to creat 50 tiny independent countries.
Eritrea’s and Somalia’s future is bright, but we don’t need this cursed land to even give us a little hick up any more and we two need to destroy Ethiopia.
Let the pay back game begin.
We both need to convey such messages in the Somali and Eritrean community.
Ethiopia is terminally ill, with contagious disease and it is not curable and we two do not need to catch its infection. We need to just expedite its death.
