It’s great speech and at the same time Ruto is putting Kenyan public assets for privatization…
It might be good move but I’m a little skeptical global corporations control all public assets in Kenya to benefit the Kenya people. The EU is giving Ruto billions to do this privatization plan… only time will tell.

This "standing ovation" reminds me of the similar happenstances that were accorded on multiple occasions and in similar fashion for the former President of Ukraine, Mr Zelensky.

For now Zelensky is a dead man walking.

Kenya can never fully disentangle itself from the yoke of its colonial legacy for the foreseeable future.
