If they have nothing to lose, then why does he object to any rapprochement between Tigrigna speakers on either side of the Mereb?

He seems to cherish the hatred and bloodshed among Tigrigna speakers when in reality hatred between Tigrigna speakers in Tigray and Eritrea is against his self-interest or the against the interests of the Muslim Eritreans / non-Tigrigna Eritreans.

Similarities in language of two or more countries is not and should not be a litmus test or an excuse that they should work together.
Respect and love of their respective country no matter what language they speak is.

there are no guarantees in life dear lad, no politician can be trusted u know that right , politcians will say one thing and mean something else. there was a time when the Shaeba and the TPLF joint hands and fought the Jebha ELF back in the 70s and 1980s . So this cant be trusted ideology such as tesfaization tigray tigrinya party , or agazi party al and other stuff like that , , will never be trusted by the Lowland comunities in Eritrea
