Negotiating with the terrorist Shene gang while conducting a war against the AmHara people exposes perfectly Abiy and the OPDO thugs! Shene can smell Abiy's defeat and has thus no interest to negotiate peace with him. What they want is their Oromia and Abiy can only stand on their way for a limited time. The OPDO thugs have effectively shortened their life when they started war not only against Amhara but the Eritrean people. There are those who suspect that this was a deliberate move by Abiy to disintegrate Ethiopia so as to clear a path for an independent Oromia. If so, then he has started in motion the possibility for a very ugly civil war. Any attempt to create an Oromo nation is going to be very, very bloody. After all, Shene's main military strategy is slaughtering women and children. Oromos have to be very careful because sooner or later they will face international condemnations.
For me, Abiy is like a child with a box of matches who delights in igniting fires without consideration of the consequences. He has no strategic depth. He has reached the level of his incompetence and will soon be dumped into the trash can of history.
