I have no issue if Arabic is one of the languages in Eritrea, it is up to you. The problem (confusion) arises the moment you drop Amharic and pick Arabic in its place. This can only be explained in terms of identity crisis of your despots.
Else you have to labor yourself the whole year but can't come up with a rational explanation on why you hate your own and pick that of others in its place.
It is just like Ethiopians were to drop Amharic or Afan Oromo and pick Arabic or Ernglish, as an example, in their places.
Such a mindset needs to be investigated, psychologically, biologically, trauma (of being raped, for example) etc. That is only what I tried to highlight.
Else, I should also be contemplating dropping Afan Oromo just because some Afan Oromo speakers have possibly subjugated me in the past or currently. Which logic explains this?

I ain't issayas fan but credit should be given to where it is due. The famous Egyptian scholar his name escapes my memory, publicly said issayas speaks better arabic than albashir of sudan who is an arab.
Issayas learned the arabic language not in schools but in the field with his comrades who spoke arabic and while he was interested, he learned it quickly.
If I talk of myself, I have learned arabic in schools but I swear that my arabic is zero compared to issayas' arabic.

There is circumstances which encourage or force some one to learn a new language, it could be because of commerce, tourism or education of higher learning, given Ethiopia is not developed in non of these domain ? what is it for me to learn Amharic?
